Editorial Policy

Last updated: August 1, 2026

Format Hubs publishes free developer tools and supporting guides. The Format Hubs Editorial Team is responsible for accuracy, clarity, and usefulness of all written content on this site.

Content standards

Research and fact-checking

Before publishing, we cross-check syntax rules, error messages, and tool output against authoritative references. Blog articles include a References section with links to those sources. When a topic depends on a specification (JSON, JWT, XML, SQL), we cite the relevant standard or official docs.

Tool testing

Browser-based tools are exercised with representative inputs: valid payloads, common syntax errors, and edge cases mentioned in guides. If a tool cannot handle a documented scenario, we either fix the behavior or clarify the limitation in the article.

Updates and corrections

We update articles when specifications change, when users report factual errors, or when tool behavior is improved. Material updates may change the "Last updated" date on a blog post. Contact us at support@format-hubs.com to request a correction.

Some footer links are affiliate or sponsored partnerships. They are labeled with rel="sponsored" and disclosed near the links. Sponsored links do not influence our technical recommendations in guides or tool documentation.
